What our clients have to say about us

Have a hike to Irente Pointview

We had a nice hike from Lawns hotel up to Irente Pointview, through villages and cultivated farmland, stopping to see some work activities, like making juice from sugar cane for a local liquor and making bricks for a own house. The view of the underneath plains from Irente point, with a 800 metre vertical drop, is spectacular. On the way back, we stopped at Irente Farm Lodge Biodiversity Reserve for a healthy farm lunch of bread, cheese, yoghurt, home-made jam and fresh fruit. Their organic products are also sold at their small shop. Chande Mmicha, our guide, was great in explaining the village life and the plants and showing the chameleons on the trees. I suggest to all who want to have a nice and instructive hike on Usambara hills to ask for this guy as he is nice and qualified.

Excellent experience!

We booked a 4 day hiking in Lushoto area, passing through local villages. Incredible views, wonderful local experience, we highly recommend it. Our guide was Chande – amazing, down to earth guy, knew all about the animals (and how to find them!), villages and best viewpoints. He has great music as well 😉
